James Comey, director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has said that state-backed hackers in China might have hacked every big US company, stealing corporate secrets worth billions of dollars.
Speaking on CBS’s 60 Minutes programme, Comey said China tops the list of countries that are trying to steal trade secrets of major companies.
“There are two kinds of big companies in the United States. There are those who’ve been hacked by the Chinese, and those who don’t know they’ve been hacked by the Chinese,” he said during the interview. Read more
